When I was doing some research prior to buying the car I saw a YT vid showing the removal of the carbon traps. I forget who did this, but they dynoed ech step.
So, the traps showed minimal gains for them. Highflow filters ditto. But running without the filter housing lids did show a reasonable improvement.
Does anyone here run their car without lids? What do you think about it?

Hood up lids off numbers are useless. Driving with the lids off hood down would cost you power if anything. Heat soak.

High flow filters and rip traps out. It is worth it!
Why not.
At highway speeds it will make a difference

They did mention that, but didn't test it.

I read somewhere that the 2025 carbon traps didnā€™t make a difference on the dyno. Also some vidoes online.

I watched about 10 videos and it was about 50/50 0-15hp and torque.
I can tell you what I feel when I did it and what people got on 22-23 Mach 1ā€™s
Either way, no negatives

Try keeping the traps but removing the filters. Wouldnā€™t do as a daily but for a quick run, would be curious.

(gt maybe dh mmm dunno)
