Hey all, I reported to you all a few months back that I’ve been having a clunk noise from my dark horse. I’ve gone over multiple possible causes such as a suspension issue, a possible issue inside the transmission, the drive line or something in the rear end possibly. I rocked my car back and forth last night and this kinda sounds like the noise I’m hearing, can anyone let me know if this is normal or not?

Doesn't sound normal to me, sounds like suspension spring acting weird or something like that.

Just for kicks, I would apply the parking brake, unless already done, and try rocking it again. This might help eliminate the calipers. Sounds like metal on metal to me. Not normal.

My DH in shop now almost a month. Similar problem. The dealership I gotine from didn't know or didn't care the coilovers have stops installed for shipping. They left them in. Take one of your wheels off and check for the nylon stop inserted between the coils. If one has them it's on all four. My DH had to have both coilovers in the rear replaced, and now they are waiting on the modules to be shipped so they can replace. But I did get a "FAULT SUSPENSION" code. Only 1100 miles.
Hope this helps. Good luck, and enjoy your car.

I’d like to see if I could assist with your noise concerns. Can you please send over a message with your VIN and estimated mileage so I can start looking into this on my end?

It appears some clutches are sticking momentarily during initial start up which is causing the initial movement. Then the car is bouncing off the slop in the park pawl. If the problem is clutch packs clearances too tight it will probably resolve itself in time as they wear in.

Could it be causing this 10r80 on cold starts?
