It was time to stripe the car

Got the pictures from the guy doing the PPF and stripes on my car. It has to sit in the shop to cure overnight because of the weather here so I won't get it until sometime tomorrow.
I was going to go with white like I had on my 2006 black convertible, and then my wife noticed the gray stripe on the seat belts and said we should go with a gray to tie that together. Same style stripe (Shelby Superstripe style) but in gray.

The GT Performance badge is going back on, but he sent me pictures without it.

The "performance" badge - he pulled it to put the stripes on and reinstalled it for pick up tomorrow but I don't have that picture yet.

I also couldn't wait to stripe it. Went straight after picking up the car. I should have the wider Gloss black MRR F6180 wheels any day now, which should match the stipes well, hopefully.

Looks nice! Not sure how I feel about the rear deck lid being painted black. That would probably be a little too much for me when combined with the stripes.

Yes, I wasn't 100% sure either, so I just had it wrapped for now. I'm diggin it so far.

Looks good and I agree on the deck lid. With the split angle deck lid I'm not sure that the wrap works as well as it did on the S550 or S197 cars.

Well, I went ahead and made the change to the decklid, after having it reworked, I think I’m a lot happier with it this way. Much cleaner. I’ve attached a few new pictures , Also removed the front stripes from the bumper down.

When it’s all said and done, it’s your Mustang. Gotta have it the way YOU want it.
