I trimmed mine in place with a utility knife with no problem, just held the bar up and secured it with one of the rear bolts while I marked the pan. Not sure why they'd want you to remove the pan.
Thought so.
As I have no way to install this myself, I'm going to ask the selling dealer to do it. The existing jack points look to easy to screw up and damage the frame.

I only had my car on a lift once before I did the rails, and the pinch weld was damaged. They are not a go fast item, but I consider them to be a must do along with the oil separator/catch can.

I did mine without jacking, laid on my side in the garage.

Next mod done today. Ford Performance X pipe. The quality of the part is second to none but the fit could be a little better. The longer end needs to taper out more to fit up to the cut stock pipes better IMHO. It will fit the last gen mustangs as well so I think they need to make one specific to the 2024 model. Will get a catback sooner or later but love the sound that an X pipe gives.

Some updated pics from putting on the RTR struts, shocks, springs and sway bars. Also some new wheels. Great deal on those and the extreme contact sport 02 Continental tires.

Did you get the wheels and tires in a package deal or something? Where from?

A few good friends from when I built my 2015. Got a few great deals.
