ShelbyMilk-thank you for your comments. Your Dark Horse sounds interesting. Though, I have a plan. I just paid off the BMW. Though I am retired, I have a part-time job as a college sports official. My season will be coming up, and I intend to use the proceeds from that, along with my trade-in, with a low monthly payment in mind. I doubt that you will have any problem selling your DH.
Understood. Looking forward to see what ya get!!

To update--I did order a '25 GT Premium two weeks ago. Performance pack, exhaust, co-pilot, B&O, Grabber Blue. I did read the comments here about the B&O, so I did sit in the GT I drove back in July (with B&O), and listened. It was OK with my 70+ YO ears. I mentioned to the salesperson that I had joined the Mustang Club, and was eligible for X-Plan pricing. He ran the numbers, and replied that the deal would have been similar in either case. So, I don't dwell on how long it will take to get it. I figure if I see it before Memorial Day, that will be fine. I am not going to stress over when it will arrive. I did that back in 1979, when I ordered a Trans Am. It took five months; won't drive myself crazy again. I'll just go about life, and when it shows up, it shows up. I have "ordered" cars forever; the last time I bought one off the lot, it was during the '80s. I don't mind waiting for what I want. A big thanks to all of you who replied to my original post!

That order didn't have anything to do with the Smokey & The Bandit movie did it? :)

Not really...I was a Pontiac guy during my 20s, and I decided I wanted a Trans Am. I had a buddy with a black and gold Special Edition, so I didn't want to copycat. I ordered mine in Heritage Brown, with gold snowflake wheels. It was a beautiful car, but very impractical, especially during winter. I couIdn't afford a second car; I kept it only two years. Forty-five years later, the Mustang will stay in the garage during winter, and the snow tires will go on my Honda Civic.

I’m 61, I live life within reason, but as if I could die tomorrow. I have a 2025 GT with the PP, NPP, perf exhaust and a Manual Transmission, on order. Go order the damn car and live a little cause you never know. Adding it to my collection.

I, too, live within my means. Post-retirement, post-divorce, my only splurge has been owning a couple of Bimmers. I have a part-time job that pays well, and that is my "fun money." I liked/loved my BMWs, but the last time around, any BMW with a stick was outside my pocketbook. My M340 is a nice car, and the automatic works well, but there is no "soul." When I drove a GT a few months back, I thought, "That's the kind of soul I am missing." So, the GT is ordered. I notice that you have an interesting "stable." Very nice! Enjoy!
