I have a 2024 S650 with Recaro seats and they don’t fit me well. I found the car I wanted with color and performance pack and figured I’d deal with the tight fit but, I was wrong haha.

I have 7k miles on the car. The Recaro’s are not heated or cooled, fully manual. Thanks.

Replacing a Recaro with a power seat would require a new driver seat module/harness and likely need a new BCM or a re-flash at minimum but they’re probably not the same PN so that’s likely not an option. You’re better off getting an entirely new car imho unless you can live without the functionality of the heat, vent and memory for the 401A seat.

I appreciate the response. Yeah, I hadn’t planned on using the functionality of the 401A seat, more so that it is more comfortable than the Recaro. I wish I could look at a new vehicle, but I’ve already taken a depreciation hit on this one. I’m open to trying other seats if anyone has any recommendations.

Get a Base Manual 300A seat. It’ll bolt right up just fine and I’m sure you could get one dead cheap. The tracks are modular between the recaro and base seat.

You could probably get a base seat for an easy swap but if you really want a 401A seat I personally think it would be easier just to get a different car. You won't have the heated/ventilated/memory functions working unless you are willing to change out some of the wiring controls - but even then you won't have the working buttons in the car.

exactly why I ordered my car. For several months, I could not find a manual GT with 401A, Performance Package and Active Valve Exhaust without the uncomfortable Recaro seats. I wouldn't mind them if they did have power seating and were heated/cooled.
