Lost all Audio

Got in car started up and all of a sudden a horn like sound for several second and then a pop. I thought someone was honking at me and i was looking around before the pop. Volume knob turns and it pops up but does nothing. Stays at 0. I turned car off when i got home as i was picking up take out. Volume turned up to 15 but no sound then got stuck on 15. Haven’t tried a reset but with a loud horn sound and a pop Im sure it’s done for. @Ford Motor Company

Well this morning it’s working. So no clue what the deal is. Probably some computer glitch since these things are all computer controlled now??

My mom's Edge did that when it was new. At some point they must have done a software update on it because it hasn't done that in years.

An IBM 1130 once though it made a mistake but then it realized it was wrong.

It's good to see that Ford corporate is watching this forum for problems.

Hold down the volume down and the right arrow to restart the head unit. Might solve your issue

ive got it back. Someone brought up and issue with blue tooth and phone connecting automatically on FB. I reset all that because i did lose sound again after i had it back. But I may do this just to get any bugs out maybe

Any updates on this, mine is stuck at 0.

Mine is working. I didn’t reset anything though. I did reset Bluetooth settings even though i got sound back because of this convo.

I've tried removing the phone, resetting sync, disconnecting the battery - nothing worked.
