Hi From Australia. You are spot on. It’s exactly why I ordered mine. People sometimes forget these are GTs, and not meant for exclusive city or suburban driving. I think our rural and remote areas are much the same as yours, set the cruise control and listen to that beautiful V8 effortlessly burbling away!

Get a "Love the Drive" wind protector. Amazing how much it reduces the wind, and wind noise, and best of all, wind no longer messes the wife's hair.

I’m with you Farmer! I sold my Vette pre Covid, and I have been throwing myself because I wanted another toy just for fun car. Well I was looking at some C8’s when I discovered the ‘24 GT. Our last Mustang was a ‘73 so it was time to renew my relationship with Mustang. My GT, 401A, AE, Bronze & Brembo’s slaps a smile on my face every time I get in it. It’s perfect for a cruise, a spirited drive or a track day. I no longer need to have the fastest or most bad ass ride. As I continue to age ( which is a good thing) I realized there are more new cars in my past than in my future. This GT is the perfect car for someone on their 74th trip around the sun.

Sounds like we’re similar. I’m on my 75th trip. My ‘24 GT also is 401A, AE, Bronze and Brembos. It’s not a race car but I’d describe it as a really competent fast cruiser. I don’t track it but I push pretty hard on mountain roads and it never disappoints. What color is yours?

Mine is Vapor Blue. I saw the car advertised on a dealer web site, and I wasn’t sure about the color. Called the dealer and they said the would have it cleaned and out front if I wanted to take a look. I had black in mind, but once I saw it I was good with the color. The key for me was that there was low contrast with the front splitter, side skirts and the rear diffuser. I thought the white or red’s had a high contrast with the blackish features. Just my taste, not a comment on anyone‘s color selection for their cars.
I just enjoy the throwback to a good ole’ American muscle car with a sweet sounding V8.

What tires does the Bronze come with?

Mine came with the Conti 255/40-R19s. The bronze pkg wheels are 19x8.5 so 255s are the biggest they’ll hold. I’d rate them as OK, nothing too special. I actually prefer the same size P Zero Neros on my 2020 GT vert with the black package. Same size wheels and tires. I know I’m the only guy here that doesn’t hate them but I have to think people who have never had a set sometimes just jump on the trash ‘em bandwagon.

What tires does the Bronze come with?

I’ve got the same Conti’s. My experience with them has not been great in the past. I had a V8 Genesis sedan the came with 255 Conti’s in the front and 275’s in the rear. Had the car from 2016 to 2020 and 43000 miles. Replaced the factory set at 14K and the 2nd set at 33k miles. Had 2 blowouts from hitting a fist size rock at low speed.
Those experiences have me looking for a spare that will fit over the Brembo calipers. Can’t fix a blowout with flat fix and a compressor.
I also carry a tire plug kit in the car. I know that using it will destroy the tire, however the cost of a new tire is worth the price of not being stuck with a flat.
