TSB 24-2422
Issue: Some 2024 Mustang vehicles may exhibit the luggage compartment scuff plate with a gap near the right or left luggage compartment side trim panel. This may be due to the luggage compartment scuff plate installation. To correct the condition, follow the Service Procedure to replace the luggage compartment scuff plate.
Basically, if the plastic scuff plate along the back of the trunk shows a gap at the curved part just inboard of the taillights, the TSB directs Ford to replace it.
