Any chance one of you cool kids with connections to a dealer asked about that performance convertible? That’s way more exciting to me right now and curiosity is killing me lmao

Hmmmm. Mustang Mach E, Mustang Off-Road Baja, Mustang 4-door, and Mustang bicycle. Personally, I'm holding out for the new Mustang lawnmower. 🤪

The interesting part of this is that Ford said it was done with sedans in favor of SUVs.

the only car they’d make would be a legendary sports coupe - the one and only Mustang.

and… here comes a SEDAN… but bearing a name it doesn’t represent?

It’s as bad as calling a truck or an SUV a “Mustang.”

but that’s the world now. I guess it’s representative of the chaos in this period of history. Men demand to be called actual women. Good gets called evil and vice versa, So why can’t a truck or a station wagon be called a sports coupe?

next up, the Ford GT backhoe and Mustang steamroller.

Someone brought up a good point on YouTube. What IS a Mustang then? They brought up the fact that originally Ford got an opinion from families before the Mustang launch and they knew they weren’t the demographic for the car. After seeing the car, the couples were asked if it would be a practical for a family. Price ultimately won them over though.

but the main point was it was intended to be a sporty little 2 door car and they knew it wasn’t going to fit a whole family. The formula worked for 60 years, it grew and other things but formula stayed the same. This same ethos made other manufacturers copy the formula without as much success in ways. So if a Mustang isn’t a 2 door sports coupe, what is it? 🤔

It’s whatever Ford wants it to be. And I don’t care so long as they keep building “our” Mustang.
negative. Of course, Ford holds the cards to take it whatever direction they want.

But the nature of the car has been set in stone for a long time. The Mustang is what it is. Its handlers may try to fool us, but people know better.

This is an experiment reflective a a culture that doesn’t know what to do with itself.

the Mustang is and always will be a two door sports coupe - small car, big power.

some can try to force the same “identity” on other vehicles and pretend it’s the same thing, but the masses will always regard the coupe as the real thing. The others are pretenders - like an SUV or door factory sedan identifying as a sports coupe. Try as it might, it will never really be one.

Well now I'm left wondering. If a mustang driven on roads so often finds itself in the grass, does a mustang lawnmower driver find themselves on the road when they lose control? The good old criss cross.

You know what? Screw it. Ford should kill the two door coupe and shut everyone on these forums down. Then they all can go complain about the new Camaro or V8 Challenger. :explode::explode:

What's there to complain about? The 2025 Camaro is the best Camaro Chevy has ever built...

Oh wait.

To be fair, I think the Camaro has the ideal steering weight and road communication for my driving preferences. Just such a shame it has the side/rear visibility issues that remove any confidence in trusting their side mirrors entirely.

Not sure if I would've went with the I4/V6 Camaro over the EcoBoost though, even if I had the knowledge I have now about driving feel.

Yeah, all jokes aside, the Camaro and challenger are great pony cars in their own ways. I'll be real, I thought all the comments on the Camaro's visability were exaggerated, then I sat in one.

Right on! I don’t care what Ford builds as long as they get me my convertible so I can enjoy it this fall!! 🤣🤣. I have my fingers and toes crossed because originally it was to be built 8/19 then 8/26 and I checked the other day (8/12/24) and it was in production with a blend date of 8/20. I was able to print my window sticker and all I do is look at it. Haha. I might have issues 🤣😂🤣

You know it’s bad when Dodge guys on RacerX’s video think it’s crazy. Lmao
