Questions is: What is the difference between "MagneRide®" Damping System and Magnetic Damping System?

2025 Dark Horse comes with MagneRide® Damping System . But then there is a Magnetic Damping System option included in Dark Horse® Handling Package. I am a bit confused.

Did you try to select both of them and see what happens, will they say you have to pick one or the other. I don’t think you could pick both, but if you could pick both, it might bleep an error message? Who knows!? Try that and see what happens.

Good explanation here and yes, the two different references (MagneRide / Magnetic Damping) appear to be one in the same. There's also a good point in final paragraph as to why Ford Protect (ESP) is something worthy of consideration...1 magneride shock costs around $400.

But they rarely fail and last longer than normal shocks, partly as a result of less mechanical parts (no valves). They can be refurbished.
