Not sure what tires to get. I'm torn between going for more a street oriented setup vs having a more autocross setup. I've been looking at the Mickey thompson street et ss. I probably would l not be doing a lot of autocross or road course events a year. I mostly would be just having fun with friends on weekends or going to meets. Could the MTs at least work on anything else than drag racing? Thanks.

"Drag pack" wheel and tire setups are definitely popular now but they aren't really good tires for street driving, in my opinion. Drag radials were designed for people who want to drive their car to the track instead of using a trailer. Typically they were found on cars used mainly for drag racing but also driven on the street sometimes. If I were doing a lot of drag racing, I'd go with dedicated slicks and put them on at the track. Then run good street tires everywhere else.

Bias ply for an M6, i’ve tried about every drag radial and the only thing that can take the clutch dump and stick are bias plys.
