My GT PP was missing them. Nobody st the dealer had heard of them and couldn't find them. They ordered a set and they came in a few days. They did offer to put them on but I declined.

Mine also did not have them installed. I called them after the purchase and they knew nothing about them. They looked in the trunk of another GT PP car on the lot and that car had them. They did find me a set and said they’d hold them for me until I could get back in there to have them installed. I’m really not sure if it is something that even matters.

It would matter to me if I was suppose to get them. Mine came installed. Not having them might make one wonder what else was skipped before delivery.

I definitely see where you’re coming from but at the same time I think we can agree a large number of dealerships have no idea what these even are or that they need to be installed. I also wonder if possibly these may have not been included in certain cars made last year? As far as performance goes (which is what I was referring to) I’m not sure the average driver is ever going to know the difference of whether they are installed or not. With all that being said I do plan on going back and getting them installed.

How much is a set ? and how low to the ground are they ?
I think they're the lowest point under the car right ?
My manual says to be careful over speed humps as to not damage them... there are a lot of quite tall speed humps near me that have their name on them :-(
2 3/4 inches or so. They are free with the $4000 GT Performance Package.

Is that how tall they are, or how far they sit off the ground ? My DH will be coming with them but i have a feeling they'll need replacing at some point (or immediately) if they're taken out by a speed bump.

I have loads of speed humps like the one attached, they're just over a vehicles width wide. Usually there is two side by side and you can go in the middle of them but that one is on it's one on a width restriction.
Photo was taken to get the pothole in it repaired as you'd ground out if you fell in the hole on the hump ...

Off the ground, but the fins are a soft flexible material. I think with them so close to the front axle they are not likely to be damaged very easily.

I have no idea why you are telling me these things.
Was adding to what you indicated, providing supporting information if the question isn’t sufficiently answered by your response.

I got my missing underbody strakes installed yesterday. It now feels like a supernatural force is keeping my car pinned to the pavement!🤣🤣

My car also passed the recall inspection-no issues. I had some pretty good hood bounce at high speeds as well but I adjusted the 2 rubber stops and it is completely gone now. Window tint, ceramic coating, black lug nuts, Bullitt shift knob and she’s good to go! Loving this car!

When I finally took a look under my Dark Horse, I noticed that there were NO STRAKES!

I drove to the Dealership (Hondo, TX) and asked about them (40 miles one way) because when I called and left a message with the recommended Service Advisor, he still hadn't returned my call after two weeks!

This time I spoke to the Service Manager and asked about them. He took down my information and said that he would look into it and get back with me.

That was THREE weeks ago and still nothing. I guess since they already had my money, they no longer feel obligated to do squat!

Ford, if you're reading this Cecil Atkisson Ford sucks!

Well, I decided to waste MORE of my time and gasoline on Friday (2 Aug 24) and drive back out to the Stealership I bought the Dark Horse from. I have a TPMS Sensor that goes in and out now. While there, I inquired about the status of the Underbody Strakes my car still does not have. The Service Manager avoided me the whole time I was there and the guy addressing my issue avoided answering my question about the status altogether.

Coming up on TWO months and still cannot get an answer...let alone, my Underbody Strakes!

Mine are in a separate bag in the trunk. Might have the dealer install them. The front end feels floaty as fuck and the weight transfer is awful when braking at high speed.
