I too am having that break sound but mines a little bit different and louder as it sounds like a plunger, making a sucking noise in the dealership made it sound like it was normal but a few friends that have 24S don’t have this noise

Huh. I actually had to go to a parts breakdown to verify the brake booster is actually vacuum run. I thought all this time it was electric due to how quiet mine is. Makes not more than a low hum with no minor whooshing noises like you'd expect out of a vacuum booster let alone any loud noises. It also seems to never run out of steam the pedal never seems to get hard when the engine is off but ignition is on, which is what led me to believe it was electric. Guess it's just really efficient?

As for the transmission shifting rougher and rougher my first thought would be low clutch fluid or an issue with the clutch that is not letting it disengage fully making the shifts more difficult than necessary. When I got lazy in my 1st gen Cummins it was easy to only put the clutch in 90-95% of the way because that last 5% actually needed some strength to mat it to the floor due to a worn out master cylinder rod, and the difference in smoothness of shift was very noticeable.

I agree with this. If the clutch is not fully disengaging, it'll put a load and strain on the trans internals. If you can get it to neutral, the synchros are worked a lot harder to try to get everything moving the same speed before the shift. Puts a big load on everything out of and into gear

Having some issues with my 24 GT that has under 3,000 miles. Car is 6 speed, has the actice exhaust, and is completely stock. The other day, I noticed my clutch started making a clicking sound and slight squeak whenever I push the clutch in. This happens when the car is completely turned off as well. Clutch definitely doesn’t feel as smooth as it did. The weird thing is, once the clutch started making the noise, my brake pedal started making this extremely weird and loud air whooshing sound whenever I press them. I’ve done some research and I’ve seen other people have a similar brake sound I’m having but not sure if the clutch and brakes are connected or just a coincidence. The transmission is also making some weird noises as well and it doesn’t feel like it’s shifting as smoothly as it once was. Another issue I’m having is a weird noise coming out of my left side exhaust tail pipes and I can’t tell what it is. It’s almost like a puffing sound, it’s hard to explain but i can only hear it out of the left side tail pipes. Also started having this terrible ticking sound which I believe might be the typewriter tick but I’m not for sure. It happens in lower RPM but obviously the noise of the exhaust drowns it out. I’m getting in touch with Ford today but just worried they’re going to tell me nothing is wrong. The weirdest part about all of this is that these issues started happening all in the past week. Maybe I didn’t recognize them right away but the car definitely doesn’t feel like it did. Does anyone know what’s going on or experienced any of these issues?
Hi there! I can look into your mustang's noise concern on my end. To get started, could you please send a private message over with the name/location of your local Ford dealer and your mustang's VIN?
