Music but not Maps

My 2025 with base level stereo (no Sirius) accesses the Sirius app that's on my iPhone, but it won't access the Google nav app. What am I missing?

Use YouTube for car music through your phone. For the money, YouTube has much better sound quality than Sirius. This is just my opinion.

Connect the phone to your car through CarPlay, the map with show up when you enter map app on your phone
