I can go on the Ford website and complete a build order for either a 2024 or a 2025 Mustang GT convertible. I thought that was weird. I did not actually progress to the point where I tried to actually order one - but I did drop into a Ford dealership and was told either model year was still available to order as a factory custom build. I had entered the same options as the 2024 Mustang GT convertible I bought last year. The website showed that now a 2024 is about $2,800.00 cheaper than the 2025 but both are more expensive that when I bought mine.. One reason may be that the website shows a Ford discount of $1,000.00 for the 2024. I just found it weird that you might still be able to order both model years at this point in time. My 2024 was built in September 2023 and I bought it in March 2024. The dealer discounted all the options (401A package, up-graded stereo, rims/tires, spare tire) and Ford offered a $2,000.00 "non-stackable" discount. Obviously, the deal was too good to refuse and I am super happy with my purchase. I would have liked the active exhaust but for the massive discount I figured I could add a valvetronic exhaust, if I really had to have one. It just made me curious to see the two model years still available as factory order custom builds.
