I do plan to keep this car for 10+ years so I want to make sure I make the right decision and that it'll be something I can live with for that long:)
If you're going to keep it that long, I would personally just check all the options. Now if you were going to keep it short term, having all the options would not necessarily help with the resale. But for long term, might as well get all the bells and whistles and enjoy it to the fullest extent. Once again, just my opinion.

I'm hoping to keep mine long term, so I was pleasantly surprised when the vehicle I purchased showed up on the lot, fully optioned out (minus the Recaros, which I didn't care for). So far, I've enjoyed driving it every day (in addition, the interior is quite comfortable) and at times, try and think of errands to run just so that I can drive it.

As requested, here's some pictures of my 400A seats. The material for the bolsters seems stiffer than the bottom/back. The order guide lists both 400A and 401A as "leather-ttimmed seats". 401A gets color accents on the seats.

Typically the 401A has memory seating, heated mirrors and other nicer interior trim parts, and technology but as far as the seats the 401A is real leather and 400A is fake leather. Call it whatever you want… blended leather, vegan leather, synthetic leather… it’s fake leather. The holes are for the heat/ventilation in the heated and cooled seats.

As for getting people in the back seats, usually I power the driver seat all the way forward allowing them to easily get in the back; then I simply use the memory functions in the 401A to get my seat back to exactly where it was. Get the 401A, it’s well worth it.
The easiest way to get in the backseat is with a large shoehorn & a pound of butter
The 401 a is the way to go and it’s only $900 more than the 400.

You noticed an option on your car you haven't noticed. (Wheels).

Well glad your car came with wheels. That drives much easier.
You’re lucky my wheels came in the trunk, lol.
