Glad to hear someone who's had success driving their Mustang(s) in the snow. So I would assume that when you do drive in the snow your in slippery mode (or perhaps not)? I believe the other poster indicated that in slippery mode the traction control is off in the Mustang? This is good knowledge for me as I can try out a few different settings, etc when the snow does start to fly.
Typically I don't bother to change it to the "slippery" setting just driving or snow. When trying to get up my driveway, if it is snow covered, I may swap to that for some assistance, but usually just leave it in normal mode. If it is icy I might try the "slippery" conditions setting

I thought slippery mode is mainly to lower the torque or throttle response so we don’t have wheel spin? Glad you can drive in just normal mode😊

@ListedGuru just to clarify I said I had slippery mode on through out my drive and traction was on in beginning. But after a while traction got off automatically and couldn’t be turned back on. Mostly cos of snow getting accumulated not sure. I should’ve mentioned it clearly earlier. Hope it’s clear now 😊
Ok and thanks for the clarification and be careful out there:)

That's correct, the throttle response is "slower", but in normal mode you can just moderate your right foot and achieve the same result pretty much. It also changes some of the other transmission responses and such and that's why on my steep driveway if it is snow covered I will use it getting into the garage sometimes, but most of the time I am just in "normal" setting.

I had both a Supra and Z, that were my daily drivers. I had little trouble commuting to my job, an hour away, but you better be very experienced with drifting situations and not panic. My Z lease was 39 months and I drove it all winter. Once, on the way home from Canada, I hit an ice storm in the Adirondaks, spun the Supra, 360Āŗ, three times but kept it on the road. During that trip, there were cars and trucks wrecked all over the place. Into ditches, the woods and even one upside down. Can it be done, yes, but you better know how to recover when the tail gets wonky. No panicking allowed. Glenn

Each has their benefits, especially when it snows!

Tires make all the difference. I used to drive my '17 Challenger Scat Pack in the Winter with all-seasons on it and I'd add 90lb of weight plates to the trunk. I got around absolutely fine in 6 inches or less of snow.

Tried driving my GT with Summer tires in the snow in January and it was horrendous... I could barely make it down the 25mph street in my subdivision, so I turned around and went home.

My buddy's dad had a Charger Hellcat that he drove year round. He put Blizzaks on it and said he could blow past trucks in all-seasons just because of how good those tires were, but he also drove it using the black key in the Winter.
