Original build week was 3 June, it moved to 10 June now 10 July. WTF!!!

Last week pushed from 6/10 to 7/15 via the online tracker and then got an email from Ford today pushing to 7/22. I guess it at least pushes the first payment out there, too!

I just got a similar email, saying 22 July. I probably will get the M2 now.

When did you first put in your order? I just put an order in last week and the dealership told me that I was looking at 3 to 4 months for a GT Premium 401a with all the performance goodies. I'm wondering if I should just accept that it will be much longer so I don't get my hopes up.

29 Feb with the order accepted on 1 March. Same thing happened with my Bronco Sport Badlands back in 2022. Ordered on 15 January, it wasn't delivered until 6 July. I ordered a BMW M2 as well, they told me the car would be built on 18 May...guess what the car was built on 18 May. The car is now waiting for transportation, it comes by ship to Port Hueneme in S. Cali. I was really torn between the M2 or the Mustang. It really was a coin toss, and I told myself which ever gets here first. It looks like it will be the M2. The issue with the M2 is they wait until the ship is fully loaded that can take 2-4 weeks sometimes.

I have been looking for a new Ecoboost coupe (non-Premium) with one option only: the performance package. Hope to use it in SCCA Autocross..
Spent days on Autotrader; but not one hit nationwide. Anyone seen one? Was hoping to avoid the wait for ordering one. Thanks.

I found a more optioned car for $6k off local to me. It is a SY 401A, PP when I ordered a 400a, and it has Recaros and MR. MSRP is $61K and they are offering the car for $56K as it has been at this dealership since March and now has 75 miles on her. Another local dealership had another SY 401A car, red calipers, AE and the Bronze package (which I don't like), and had 738miles on her. The GM has been driving the car. I told them I wouldn't even consider the car without 10-15% off. They have yet to get back to me.

My Dark Horse Premium...Ordered on 3/28/2023. Original production date was w/o 6/3/2024...then 6/10/2024...then 7/15/2024...now 8/5/2024. I do have a VIN, so I guess that's a positive?
