Need to get GT Premium in order to get MagneRide

I was on the ford site building out new Mustang GTs and noticed that the MagneRide option is only available in the premium trim. Am I mistaken or is this actually true?

This has always been the case with the S650 GT. Premium only.

S550 if I remember right let you have it on base GTs and EcoBoosts as well.

You are correct. The S550 base GT trim was available with MagneRide. Don't know about EcoBoost.

Not on the base GT trim, unfortunately.

The S550's GT Performance Package went for $6,295 in 2021. MageneRide: $1,695, active valve exhaust: $895.

I have no doubt in the value of getting the MagneRide. I have it on my car and it drives great. I was pointing it out because the S550 "base" was configurable to have the package. (I'm still holding out of the purchase of a new S650. Very tempted but not convinced.)

I know there were many 2024 builds that were held up because of various parts constraints. If the MR can only produce a projected number it would be better to limit to certain model levels. There were too many hold ups causing hard feelings on builds.

Can confirm, drives GREAT, you have to get the performance package as well tho to unlock it
