If it was a sedan, don't you think we would have seen it testing?
Perhaps, but most of the initial testing for vehicles occurs within Ford's sealed off proving grounds away from the public eye. Public road testing often happens after public reveals.

If Ford were making a new, affordable sedan, it's inevitable the two engine options would be the 2.5L hybrid and the 2.3L ecoboost. They want a base car that gets 40+ mpg, both for CAFE and to lure cost-conscious buyers. The ecoboost gives them the "sporty" option without cannibalizing the Mustang GT or Mach-E.

Which means any Coyote-powered 4-door would wind up being a limited trim, a halo product to re-launch Ford's sedans in the United States. To be clear, I'm not saying that's what this product is, just that I wouldn't expect Ford to be planning a mass-production V8 sedan.

If you search up 2025 Ford Expedition, it will come up with spy shots and test mules. With your logic, that car should have already been revealed.

Local GSM informed me today that the announcement for 8.16 is how they are formally announcing the 60th anniversary edition that is currently available for ordering.

As much as I love the GTD, this is kinda the flaw it revealing it as early on as they did. Everything else is gonna feel kinda lackluster by comparison.
Nooope! I actually felt/feel better about things. I think its great that there is an aspirational Mustang rather than just another. Usually things trickle down not up. One could argue that a Dark Horse is a baby GTD. There are after all six variants of the platform going from good to better to best. Yep, I‘m a proud papa. 😉

Thank you for that perspective. 😃

Since you mentioned it I think my BMW G20 330d is a baby BMW M4 GT3 and since both cars, the M4 GT3 and the Mustang GT3 are relatives and the GTD is the street legal version of the GT3 Race Car, my BMW is almost like a GTD.

Very nice, didn't realized that until now. :like:

Really? It's gonna be the AE? Already saw that in person back in April. I guess for the rest of the uninformed world this will be news.

Probably a higher end tier of the 60th anniversary like they did in 2015. If it was a wild or super special model the media would be there
