10000% my dude. I think this is my best play. Hell, I'll even wait longer and get it a year used if I have to for 10k plus off lol.
Did you ever get the original issue with the dealership resolved? I've been trying to buy a 2024 manual GT premium since October 29th and almost made it to financing before I was told there is an emissions recall that needs a new system software update to be fixed before they can sell me the car. Haven't been able to find anything about it online besides this post. They pulled this car for me specifically from another dealership and I'm personal friends with the salesman so I know he is not trying to screw me over. Just weird not seeing anything about this issue anywhere online.

The recall is for drivers side screen going black and not working sometime. My car has done this once but come back on after driving car to Walmart got back out and it has worked since. It was weird driving car with no speedometer and no gas gauge lol.

Meh. I’ve had 70’s era cars that had wonky speedo’s and gas gauges. Smacking the dash usually got things straightened out!

Maybe we need to keep a rubber mallet handy?
Kenetic realignment or percussive maintenance. Works on multi-million dollar naval electronics should work here.
