Nitrous S650 on the dyno
We put our shop car on the dyno yesterday to get some numbers, we've been running the car on 100 shot for about 2 months now and have been very pleased with the difference in the way the car pulls during street testing, but wanted to get some on paper data down that we can share with other that might be interested in going this route.
We have an extremely low reading dyno but regardless the test was to see the difference between leaving the nitrous off and turning it on.
The only other modification done to the car is a nice set of 1-7/8 long tubes to avoid clogging up the cats.
The results of the test were that the car made 376whp without the nitrous and jumped up to 467whp as soon as we turned the bottle on!
We are stoked with the gain off this as these nitrous systems aren't too pricey and only took about a day to install with all the bells and whistles we opted to put on there.
We are heading out to a local test and tune this weekend to see what kind of numbers we can put down at the track using the nitrous, and will of course run a few baseline runs beforehand so that we can compare.
