I couldn't find any info on that, 650 hasn't been out long enough to see this tested. It would have to help, I'm just not concerned enough to drop $800 or $1500 on a cooler, unless I run into overheating issues. As a daily driver, with some spirited driving, 230-240 is still within a healthy range.
I agree I don’t see it get past 240-250 very much. I was looking around and it looks like the NON PP have an Engine Intake Manifold Runner Solenoid on the oil filter adapter and the PP oil filter adapter doesn’t have that.

I have a non pp. Did a mountain run this afternoon in 100 degree GA weather. Oil temps got up to 270 at the highest. What is the unsafe level? Car didn't go limp or anything.

Highest I’ve seen my GT PP get was low 210’s after multiple passes on the drag strip when the ambient temperature was in the mid 90’s.
Mine reached 213 during track day at Daytona, mostly stayed around 196.

I have all 3 Coolers on my DH but I don’t have PP. Does that make sense?

I think 270 is almost in the yellow on the dash gauge

I planned for oem pp cooler but it seems like you have to do a lot to install it. price for work might be insane. Cause PR3Z-6881-C looks like not an easy to install without taking engine off. But i didn't checked with my dealer about price\work

I was doing more research and on the non pp oil adapter we have an engine intake manifold solenoid and on the PP oil filter adapters they don’t have that. I don’t want to mess with that so we’ll have to wait for an aftermarket solution or come up with our own.

I just got back with my car after running it at The FIRM in Starke, Florida. The car held up great in the morning. In the afternoon after 10 laps (15 minutes) I got a warning the axle temp was high and to reduce speed. After letting it cool down I went back out and made it another 5 laps before I got the same warning. Temperature was 91 degrees per the Dragy app.

Here are the highest temperatures I saw:
Cylinder Head - 231
Engine Oil - 276
Transmission - 221
Axle - 300 (car gave a warning temp was high and to slow down)

Here’s a video with my best run. Please be kind with the comments. This was my first time ever on a track in anything but a go cart. šŸ˜‚
