I ordered on March 6 and am in the same boat. Being frustrated won't get you anywhere though. It's a rollercoaster of emotions, buckle in. Lol.

At least I'm not the only one! Guess that's something! LOL!

Last week I pulled the stats for DH orders on this forum's tracker. Out of 103 DH orders, only 20 had VINs. Waiting sucks, but most of us have made no progress including day 1 orders.

yes. ordered 4/3. whipped horse posted a picture of his that arrived at the dealership. His dash plaque says R1037. Does that mean 1037 of them have ben built?

I wonder what the margin of error on that is, though for folks that submitted their info. I've noticed a couple of times in this forum people asking questions specific to either Eco, GT, or DH and getting answers for other models. I also wonder how many of those 20 are "possibly" insiders, I.E. they work at a dealership so were able to be top of the list for allocations, etc. Since I have a lot of time waiting for my car, I have a lot of time to think up conspiracy theories. Lol.

Possibly. But if so, I bet 1037 have not shipped.

Also think of it like this. If they said every dealer is getting at least 1 dark horse, and there are somewhere around 3000 dealers in the US, that would mean they've built 1/3 (probably more like 1/6) of their intended production before the car really started shipping.

That's a lot with at least another 12 months of production for 24 model year alone.

Short answer: I doubt 1037 DH have been built so far.

If nothing else, I would treat the info in our database as pessimistic. It relies on us to update the info and those updates only show progress. So at any given time our database is lagging what is presently happening.

As far as insiders go, does it really matter? There's not a lot of movement even for those who are leading the race. Thankfully we have seen someone on here get his DH. Like a carrot from Ford to help string the rest of us along. Same as knowing your slot machine is just about to hit.

My BE Dark Horse arrived yesterday evening. I can't believe it arrived by convoy in 1 day from MI to WV. I'll be making the 2 1/2 hour drive to pick it up tomorrow or Friday. In the meantime, here is some not so good pics from the dealer. For those interested the chassis number is R1114.

Very Exciting. It was delivered this afternoon to the dealer. I went to see it 2 hours later, so it wasn't touched yet.

It was a cloudy day and dirty from sitting out for a month, so I couldn't see the paint shine. I am very happy with the color, and it should look great all shined up. One bird gift on the hood vent.

Like I said in another post, ALL the bolt on parts were in the trunk. But I did not see the oil catch can, could have been in the car somewhere.

I started it up and it sounded great. Exhaust tips are huge and I like how they are black.

I hope to pick it up tomorrow, but its supposed to be raining, so we will see. I will take better pics when I get it home
