Cancel your order and get a GT instead. Seriously. If you can afford a Ecoboost premium convertible, then a base GT isn't much more. I had a 2015 Ecoboost that I liked but always wished I had bought a GT instead

Very much worth considering. I have a 2022 Ecoboost that I really enjoy. Have put 45,000 miles on it. But now waiting for my 2025 GT convertible to be built. Lots of wrestling with whether to do this, but decided I want the GT.

Cancel your order and get a GT instead. Seriously. If you can afford a Ecoboost premium convertible, then a base GT isn't much more. I had a 2015 Ecoboost that I liked but always wished I had bought a GT instead

Perhaps 40 or 50 years ago a Mach 1. You may have missed that I’m a Septuagenarian. Now wife and I replacing our 20 year old red solara vert to cruise into the sunset.

Dealer updated today. Order is “unscheduled clean” so no constraints other than a build schedule slot assignment. Guess I’m saving on insurance premiums.

Way cool. We’re planning a St. Louis to Nova Scotia to Canadian Rockies to north western us national parks and back home as soon as the vert is delivered. First oil change likely in Cleveland or Niagara Falls.

No joy. Status is Still not scheduled clear. And flat rock not scheduling this week. Looking like may build.

Scheduling is done one month at a time, except for a few that might get inserted if they are able to make adjustments. In mid-Feb they did the scheduling for all of April. Around the third week of March they will do the scheduling for May. Early in the week Ford works with dealers on the scheduling and notifications of bring scheduled and VIN are sent to customers on Thursday and Friday. So, right now you are likely to not be scheduled to be built until May.

Sorry that it is taking so long. If your dealer is a small dealership that does not sell many Mustangs they might not be getting a Mustang build allocation. If that’s the case they probably want the sale and you are delayed and delayed!! If so, they really should be up-front with you. If so, you. Ight want to consider a larger dealer that sells more Mustang and is more likely to get an allocation for you, or you might consider Granger Ford, a sponsor of this forum. They’ll order you one at 4% below invoice and be very upfront on the timeline.
