The ceramic coating on my wheels was/is specifically for wheels - it's not the same product that's on the rest of the vehicle. They have ceramic coating for matte finishes
I agree. The OEM pads give off a ton of dust. My wheels are filthy after a drive. I don't want to have to wipe mine down every day either. I put ceramic pads on my Z06's right away and eliminated about 90% of the brake dust. Thanks guys for your responses but I've been an amateur detailer for many years. I know how to wash/clean my wheels. I just don't want to have to clean them every day. My question was if anyone knew of dustless (ceramic?) brake pads. I guess I got spoiled with my previous BMW 3 series and it's ceramic pads.

G-Loc Brake Compounds:
GS-1: The GS-1 compound is for high performance on the street. The compound provides great release and modulation while still being very rotor friendly. With the low dusting and low noise of this compound, you get lower maintenance and a more pleasant driving experience. Linear torque makes these pads very streetable without ABS intervention. Operating Range: Ambient-800°F.Recommended Uses: All street cars, towing or fleet vehicle. NOT recommended for ANY track use.
I also had my share of brake dust on Z4M, E46 M3, E63 M6, 335N's. I invested $ in EBC pads. Got fed up with the Munich boyz and left the kraut autos altogther.
I ordered PowerStop ceramic pads from Summit Racing a few weeks ago. They were backordered and won't be in for a few more weeks.I contacted Brembo regarding reduced dust brake pads for the grabber 6 and 4 cylinder calipers...they have nothing regarding lower dust pads. So, gotta compile a list of potential suppliers to contact. Is my desperation showing?
