Phone Holder recommendations?

Here is the problem with cellphone holders. Almost all require a suction cup, while a few use available cup holders. There is even one magnetic unit, and one which clips to an HVAC vent. With almost no exception, wherever they're mounted, they're in the coverage area of the airbags. About all you need in a vehicle collision, is a 4 to 8 ounce cellphone smacking you in the face!

Alan, I'm just curious what people are using & if they're any good, not a lecture. I believe there may be one that sits in the tray where the USB ports & 12 volt accessory port is located.
I'll take my chances on flying phones!

The "tray" is just that, and the Premium up have charging built in the 2024s. The tray charging was deleted on some models on the 2025.

There is a learning curve for cellphones but once you learn the operation, you'll never need to touch the phone whatever it is. The only draw back, is choosing texted return messages. Apple (can't speak for Android) doesn't allow you to customize them easily.

IMO, weathertech makes a good one, but as you can see, it blocks access to controls.

Yes, I actually bought one for my cupholder and didn't like it because of this problem. My cupholders are in line the other direction.

Please stop. I am looking for a decent phone holder. I have been using phones since they came out. (Yes, I'm that old and have been through the curve!). I have my reasons for wanting one.

Sorry I have nothing to offer. My bag phone from back in the day would have barely fit behind the drivers seat. As to blocking the air bags, that’s one I had not considered. Guess I’ll put mine in the arm rest after delivery. Just got my vin number on Thursday.

Perfect use of the space between the screens. Unlike many other options, absolutely nothing is obstructed, either visually or physically.

I have used these in a few vehicles $25 i think on amazon. lots of options last forever. I have extra holder between passenger seat for storage and riders drinks. its in picture too
