I use one that clips on to the front center vent, Vicseed brand. Around $20 or less on Amazon. Holds my Iphone 16 fine and should do well with many others. Doesn't get in the way of the shifter with my 6 speed, '25 GT Convertible.

I have never thought about adding one to the mustang but I love ram mounts. I use them for my phone and tablet in the Xterra. They are strong enough that my tablet is held in place while bouncing through rock gardens. I have mine drilled into the center storage bin are on the top of the Xterra dash. Some companies make model specific ones that are a bit less permanent. You can also get cup holder, vent, suction cup, and stick on parts with the same ball style attachment. They do have a magnetic one with wireless charging too.

I had to create a couple of mounts. The one above the volume knob is a selfie stick phone holder on a magnetic ball mount stuck to the dash, so I can get my phone in front of the vent to cool it on long trips.
The other is for my dedicated V1/JBV1 display phone. I couldn't find a mount that put it in exactly the right place, so I bent up a bracket and stuck it to the the dash.
Not very pretty, but they do the job.

when i had my EcoBoost S550 and did some Uber Eats, i used some combination of two different phone holders that fit together. i stuck it to the glovebox and it would hold for as long as i was making deliveries. my phone is either in my pocket or on the wireless charger getting cooked. i do recommend avoiding ones that mount with suction cups and ones without the little things at the bottom that hold the bottom of the phone. suction cups may leave marks, and without the bottom holder, your phone may shimmy out and fall

Looking for a really nice and functional phone holder for my 25 convertible. Preferably to go wireless. Anyone?
I found this on Amazon today and am considering it with placement in the unused area between the displays. Would only work if you have the premium package where it's all one contiguous panel.
