All,

Looking at a set of 20 x 10 Velgen Classic5 V2s in black, with 275/35R20. Hoping someone has a picture of these on a S650 or S550 with stock height suspension. Alternatively, any Velgen wheel 20" on stock suspension. All the photos I find on the site so far are on lowered cars, which look beautiful, but curious on stock ride height.

Thank you in advance.

also worth remembering that Mustangs that come factory with 20" wheels have a factory higher ride height, so putting 20" wheels on one that didnt come with those size wheels factory and still on the stock suspension will naturally look slightly lowered

Thank you for that. I was hoping for something from a member here so we knew for sure the suspension setup. I have a nonPP GT, so it has 255/40R19 square setup now. 275/35R20 is right at 3% taller so trying to stay in the 3% rule. I was assuming there would be no issues with this. If that us a bad assumption, please let me know.

Keep within 3% diameter so the speedo isn’t too far off and the big tire won’t put your car in a different effective gear ratio. You can change your tire size in FORSCAN, but the effective gear ratio will be different with too big or too small of a tire. It’ll affect your fuel economy, acceleration, etc. depends on the owner how much they care or notice

Thank you. I was in process of typing this. Using Michelin Pilot AS4 as an example, 255/40R19 is 27.1" while 275/35R20 is 27.8", so right on the edge.

Any club members or sponsors with a good side picture of 275/35R20 on a stock suspension S650? Preferably velgen classic5 V2's, but any 20 x 10 with that tire size will do. Interested in how the wheel gap looks on a confirmed stock suspension ride height.

Yeah they’re gonna be a 305/35. Going from the stock 19s to these made a noticeable difference in the wheel gap.

I've just edited it on my Dark....
It's not Velgen, but it gives you an idea.
275/35/20-9,5 - 295/35/20-10,5 original springs.
