Poor Steering Feedback/ Road Feel?

I'm pretty satisfied with how my car's steering feedback feels but I have found tire feel is increased with an aggressive alignment and decreased by stability control. With front toe out, maxed negative camber, and ASC completely turned off, I can feel the front pretty good during autocross.

@PBBLASTER ...... I would wait until your vehicle arrived and then reach a decision after more hands-on use rather than worry in advance. While we are swinging around credentials, not that that is necessarily of any importance, I have a degree in advanced physics and have been building engines and cars since I was twelve years old with an uncle, who was a divisonal automotive engineer at GM and family/friends since I was 12 years old. My friends, having driven my GT and because its convertible it has a more flexible body (notwithstanding the beefy frame stiffeners now welded to a significant steel plate for 2024) feel it corners and behaves better than any Mustang they have ever driven except the DH. Yes, we can usually improve the handling characteristics of any vehicle, boat, airplane.....but out of the box and for the money the 2024 GTs and DHs are absolutely amazing. Give your, soon to arrive, Mustang a chance before you hit the order catalogues. I'll try to attach a picture of the family garage.

@samson , respectfully I don't really like to feel wheel shake, but we all use different terms to describe likes/dislikes. I do like to feel tire bite and a consistent curvature through a corner without skip and wander. I find the three steering weight preferences given to me to be pretty decent and do have different feels. I do feel a set of NITTOS (if they are good enough for "drift king" Vaughn Gitten Jr.) would make a difference but that's not my Mustang's fault. If Ford put everyone's favorite options on the car none of us would be able to afford it. IMO they have been designed as fabulous driving cars for experienced members of the Mustang family - not as end use race or super cars. Super fun yes but not for die hard drifters/racers. That was never Ford's intention if you look at their production meeting videos. The platform is so good that anyone can do that if they want to.

Wheel shake was a poor description on my part. I just would prefer a little more feedback when driving the car semi-hard. Not sure the best way to describe it other than again, to me, the steering feels sort of numb. But on regular driving I love the comfort of the steering. Perhaps they could have dialed up the "sport" steering setting to give enthusiasts a little more of what they crave. No arguments with your comments. I love the car as well. It has exceeded all my expectations so far.

I don't usually "swing credentials" but i thought it important to establish that i know what i am talking about up front so teenagers dont come out the woodwork to argue nonsense with me. I got enough of that on YouTube videos.

I do not plan to buy anything yet. I will be lucky to even get my 24. I only have an "order received" email from ford and i have about 10 days to get scheduled before they cancel it. I got the PP so that could be a limiting factor.

As far as i can tell nobody claims to have solved the steering numbness complaints. I do love a challenge.
