I have a 2024 Atlas Blue Metallic Mustang GT that came with the stock 18" gloss black wheels. They are ok looking but honestly I'm not longer in love with the gloss black look plus they suck to keep clean, lol. TBH I really don't know what would be involved if I wanted to go to a bigger 19" wheel for instance. I really like the 19" PP wheels that came on the 24's in the carbonized gray color but I believe those have different sized fronts and rears which I'm not too thrilled about either. I would like to be able to still rotate my tires and be able to have a decent selection of all season tires for my chosen wheel size.
Looking through a few of the threads I see people mention getting their current wheels powder coated (or hyper dipped) but I'm not sure if this can be done with any wheel (like my gloss black ones)? Maybe someone here has upgraded their base 18" GT wheels to something else or had them powder coated by chance? If so a few pictures would be great. I'm open to any and all suggestions.
