I would not think so either but what do I know. For that fact, I could be looking at the wrong harness but that is the only harness that runs through the trunk and looks to plug into my active exhaust. Does your Mustang have Active exhaust? A picture of the harness on a DH or PP would be good.
My buddy sent this pic from a dark horse. Little hard to tell but it looks like the wires coming out look the same as a non pp with active

From the angle provided, it looks the same. Maybe I have the wrong harness but that is the only harness extending through the trunk. It connects to the active exhaust, backup camera, and the charcoal canister from what I can tell. I'll look some more this evening.

If you receive any more pictures or additional information, please post. Temp sensor arrived yesterday, waiting on the harness.

Still waiting on the harness. In the mean time, any additional pictures of the harness and where the pigtail for the temp sensor plugs into the harness at? Just trying to save myself the guess work.

Does your DH have the rear differential cooler installed? I can’t recall if all DH’s have the rear differential cooler or just the ones with the”handling package”. I know they all have the rear differential temp sensor.

Harness arrived today. Unfortunately, the main harness connector was broken so I am attempting to send it back. That being said, from what I can tell it appears to only be the replacement harness that runs through the trunk and connects to the active exhaust and charcoal filter. It does not have the pigtail connector that would extend to the rear differential and connect to the temp sensor. Unless someone has pictures of the harness and routing, my next step would be the dealership.

Looking at the wiring diagram I am seeing another jumper that could possibly be the one for the diff section 2C054.

That blue connector that points towards the front of the car looks to be in the same position as pictures of the connector on the pp or dark horse. Reading the descriptions of the part I see something about headlight leveling and adaptive dampening. I am confused about the headlight leveling as i am confused if that is part of a magneride adjustment system.

I believe that the correct harness is the part number that ends in G which is https://parts.ford.com/shop/en/us/wiring-(convertible-coupe)-p-pr3z2c011g?pdp=y#/sectionId:854266145 . The one that ends in J probably has the diff plug too as magneride is only possible with PP.

Thanks mewstang for the information. can you share where found the diagram? Beyond finding the correct pigtail, I need to located the harness it plugs into and the routing.

I searched the part number for the wire harness you bought and saw the diagram on ford parts website
https://parts.ford.com/shop/en/us/wire-looms-and-connectors/wire-jumper-50l-(coupe)-p-pr3z14a411b?catalogId=251&dealerId=24400&storeId=1405&langId=-1&krypto=4fVWXk24ozPwYpOfnfqkUdcEWenRa1JDTfQ913hmoIyAoUjsYMATT0/vJsQOptiIEK9N2XMoZsaZReJw8W8Fe/4jjlyCc5sPoqhuXoyKZdk=
Unfortunately i havent had the time yet to remove the interior pieces to confirm that it could possibly route to the diff but i will send an update when i can. I do believe that this wire is towards the front of the trunk as i have gutted the car to do some racing and vaguely remember a harness around that location. I am also going to add the differential cooler but dont know whether to get the dark horse oem or steeda as ive seen that both use the same cooler housing.
Also, if there is any dh owner reading this can you send a picture of the undertray in the rear that is between the exhausts? That would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Whichever cooler you choose, be sure it is going to have adequate airflow. I was originally planning to install the oem cooler, but I think the Dark Horse bumper has vents for air to run through the cooler, where the GT does not have the vents. I was worried the oem cooler would not have adequate airflow since it is essentially mounted in front of the bumper. I went with the MMR cooler since it uses a fan for cooling.

For some reason the diagram on ford parts for the harness you located shows not available when I open your link. I have also emptied my trunk several times for track days but I don’t recall a harness towards the front of the trunk near the back seat. I’ll check again at some point this week and post the results. I would like to make this work so that I can see my diff temps on my dash along with the rest of my temps. As for the rear differential cooler, I’ve narrowed it down to OEM or Steeda but I still have a bit of research to complete. I’ve completed the OEM PP oil cooler, front brake cooling ducts, and radiator upgrade and would like to finish it out with the OEM rear differential cooler to keep it all OEM. We will see.

want to say sorry for not sending pictures. i wasnt able to get a good look due to how cramped everything was.

looks like you're right. i was wrong about the wiring harness. so the good news is we now know what harness it is. the bad news is that this harness looks to be rather complicated to uninstall and reinstall. looks like the harness in question is PR3Z-2C011-G. sorry again @Cool66 for giving you the wrong part number
