Just installed Ford performance track springs for the 2024 Mustang specifically it came with rear spring anti squeak isolators. The end of the coil is super close or touching the body of the car. And yes the bottom of the spring is seated correctly. Will this cause it to squeak later down the road or should it switch to the stock ones?

Even with the stock isolators in place, the coil gets pretty close to touching metal there. I wouldn't worry about it unless you hear a clunk or squeak. Then either reseat the current isolator or return to stock.

I tried putting the old isolators in nothing changed still is getting super close to the metal there. I put the new isolators on tried repositioning the spring but there is not really play for it. Everytime I jack up the subframe the end of the coil just wants to stick back out like in that photo

That spring fits several years. Maybe check other year forumns to see if this clearance is normal.

Sorry to revive this old thread but I just installed the same springs and ran across this same issue on mine.

I didn't notice it at first but I'm getting a clunking noise at low speed rough terrain conditions, so went back to check everything and noticed how the spring sits.

Have you had any noises/issues since your install?

It’s the springs touching together under certain bumps. You need a rubber spring coil over

Thank you for the reply! I'm going to try this today. I'm guessing you just install them as close to the top as you can fit them?

No problem. Should be the last tight one. The few above should be touching but make sure you put it on that coil I posted
