I must be one of the lucky ones. I'm 6' and the mirror in our vert is fine, no issues.

6’4ā€ here. Yes the housing in the way.
but you need to man up and pull the entire mirror out and down from where you think it should be.
once you do that, adjust it very slowly into place and you can get it to be perfect. I have about 2ā€-3ā€ of headroom above my head. If you’re taller you may be screwed.
however I notice the left/right adjustment is more of an issue than the up/down
There is no telescopic arm that will magically give you a little adjustment. It is a ball and socket, you will not get anymore room man handling the mirror....LOL

If you have pushed it up to where it touches the housing you are not getting it to move anymore.

Sounds good! My mirror that didn’t previously work now does :)

Anyone get a good solution for this yet? I'm only 5'9" and get about 2/3 window and 1/3 back seat when looking out the rearview mirror. I've also noticed it creeps down from the highest position I can get it while driving. I guess the road vibration causes it to slowly move downward.

I've never had a car with this problem and it's annoying as hell. I don't feel like I should have to be sitting with the seat adjusted all the way down to be able to properly use the mirror. Stupid design. I can only imagine how bad this must be for the six footers and up.

6' 2" and no issues. Occasionally, I have to tilt my head to one side to see the entire picture, but to be honest, I almost never look in my rear-view mirror.

It drives me nuts. The view with the convertible top up is already somewhat limited by the size of the rear window. Then I can't even take full advantage of that. I like the have the seat up a little bit for a better view of the road. Looks like I'm going to have to move it back down and sit closer to the floor. Keep in mind I still have a solid 2" plus of head room in my current seat setting. Pretty stupid design. Not sure how their engineers didn't notice this along the way. A mirror should work for any seating position up to the head touching the roof.

Just got my first ever Mustang delivered at the dealership. Can't help but notice that the rear view mirror is kind of limited in movement with all the sensors on the windshield.

I am 6 ft tall and personally prefer my seats all the way up or almost up. So that's what I did with this mustang. Set it almost all the way up so my head doesn't touch the roof.

I couldn't see much on my rear view. It was like 70% backseat and 30% the road/cars. Tried playing around with the seat, both back and pulled it front and down also. But the most I get on my rear view is like 60% road and 40% backseat. Still not ideal. Cause the rear view mirror kinda is limited in movement with sensor.

Any one else face this issue and know what to do with it?
Were you able to use the lever on left side to lower your body a bit? I am six foot too but just pump the level to lower myself works for me! Try that!

A few have suggested it here and it just worked for me. Move the mirror all the way to the left, then up as far as it can go, then move it back to the right. I'm 5'10" and went from seeing maybe 75% of the window to 100% of it.

I just now tried that and it does seem to have helped. Not perfect, but better. I also just lowered my seat a tiny bit. Appreciate the tip.

Just got the car. I'm 6' and missing about 15 to 20 % of my view with the seat all the way down. I'll try the top left trick and see if it will work.

6'3" for me and have a good view out the back window. It took me a few tries to get it perfect. Is this the first rear view mirror you all have adjusted in your lives šŸ˜‚ Cheers !

Happy to report that the top left truck worked for me! I've been miserable for 3 days but now I can see!
