Installed my DIYVan kit today. The Gorilla duct tape I used until now seems to have kept all but a couple little rocks out. Glad this is done.

ford engineers put those holes there for a reason...
You need to use the search function.

One of our employees spoke directly with the lead Ford aerodynamics engineer in charge of the S650 program, as well as his boss. Those are solely to facilitate the assembly process. Further, they advised that it is completely safe to close them off.

In the future, I suggest that you do some research before opening your pie hole.

Nothing major ... used FORScan to add the CGD (continuous gear display).

Changed the splash screen logo, but decided I liked the DH one best, so I changed it back.

There are many changes you'll (eventually) want to make. Plus you can use it to read DTC codes and diagnose issues (not just on the Mustang).

Might come in handy after all as my wife has a '23 Escape Hybrid speaking of which she gets at least double if not triple the gas mileage my GT gets so far, lol.

I've used this same ODBLink MX BT dongle and FORScan to program my '15 F150, '17 F350, '21 F150 and now my '24 DH. I've also used it on a myriad of vehicles (different brands) for reading and resetting DTCs, as well as troubleshooting and monitoring.

Windows computer and a supported OBDII dongle. I suggest the OBDLink MX+.

Yes, depends, and well …..

think of it as a hex editor for the computer systems in the car. Multitude of systems magnitude of code. Various options available and digits modified to obtain inferred (reverse programming to determine what does what by the provider - some crowd sourcing is also involved) values resulting in changed behavior. Not a common hand held toggle on off type of system.
