i run a prop and custom 3d print shop and leather costuming and harness work. as well as laser engraving. I make stuff for parade floats in Mardi gras and gasparilla here in Tampa as well as props for theatrical productions. I havea 24 base gt i need to update my profile my 19 got rear ended while driving by a drilling rig and it practiced the art of car jitsu on my poor 19. ( car jitsu the gentle art of folding a persons car while they are still in it)

The 14mm will work fine i was just being overly precise. I used calipers to measure it.

It's about 95% of the way there. It does fit differently than OEM but there are no gaps and the only issue was the incorrect instructions resulting in one of the screws dropping down into the engine bay and sitting on the underbelly pan.



Looks better. I don't believe there is any functionality that OEM wouldn't cover.

elevated or taller vents create an increased negative pressure zone above the vent allowing more heat/pressure to dissipate probably not much more then stock so mostly looks better.

They will be delivered tomorrow. Home Depot (local) didn't have them so Amazon did and for cheaper than Home Depot.

I'll post back here tomorrow if/when the issue has been resolved.

Anyone else reading this thread be warned you need an allen key and not a T20 Torx like the video says.

Other than that the fitment is about 95% so all things considered it's a win.

Is it worth it - that depends on you. I wanted a more aggressive look so to me yes.

I've reached out to both CJ Pony Parts, via their contact form, and RTR, via their ASK A QUESTION form, and will see if one of them can tell me exactly what size M4 button head screws are used and I'll buy something off Amazon.

If you got extra screws, i would take one and put it in a bath and see if it rusts out. I have got some pretty bad stainless hardware from places.

Yeah, just for shits and giggles I can do that and set it aside for a bit. I've only got 1 in there that didn't come with the kit but it looks damn near identical. In fact the allen wrench slot actually seems much better in terms of recepticle.

That is exactly what it was. I had an allen key that worked. I have the vent reinstalled (below).

I'm still short one screw though so hoping someone knows what these button head M4 parts actually are in length. I'd rather have all 4 installed LOL

On that RTR video the assembly hardware comes in two bags. From CJ Pony Parts it came in one bag with no label. Anyone have an Enigma machine? This is from the video.

I installed this as well and the screws they supply are "kindergarten quality", (JUNK) not only that but the two front corners extreme left and extreme right DO NOT LAY down properly they are lifted at each corner about a 1/4 and inch, showing a slight gap.

I would not recommend buying or installing this product - unless or until they perform some QC and correct the issues...
