I installed this as well and the screws they supply are "kindergarten quality", (JUNK) not only that but the two front corners extreme left and extreme right DO NOT LAY down properly they are lifted at each corner about a 1/4 and inch, showing a slight gap.
1/4"?!?!? Wow, that was worse than mine.

I actually uninstalled it, used a heat gun and adjusted my corners on the front face ever so slightly, then reinstalled it using the screws I got off Amazon. Those seemed better quality with the receiver slot seemingly more pronounced.

Now everything is far more snug.

Unfortunately rtr's qc has been dodgy. I did have to re install mine as the whole back end was off by about 1/4 inch it did require some sliding around to fit proper now sits like factory. Should not be difficult.

So just some observations and experiences with these RTR folks. I have purchased and installed the following from them:

1. Rear bottom fender wings/diffusers - (installation easy and straight forward, no issues)

*2. Front Chin splitter - Poor instructions (they don't specifically mention to REPLACE the two push pins on the extreme sides of the bumper both left and right side🙄) difficult installation the holes didn't line up and I also bought the two piece plastic under tray extension cover that goes from the rear of the chin splitter, the holes were off on these so bad I had to ferret out the holes with a drill bit in order to install the plastic tree push pins (JUNK)... YOU DO NOT NEED TO REMOVE THE FRONT BUMPER TO INSTALL - I have seen some YouTube channels taking off the front bumper to install this and it IS NOT REQUIRED.

3. Side Rocker extensions, install was straight forward, and spot on. No issues - however, I would suggest some double sided 3M VHS tape on the underside of the extensions as an additional secure addition to the install (They installed perfect and look great)

*4. Hood Vent - WASTE OF MONEY - no great difference between it and the stock one, fit and finish is atrocious, I bet they get a lot of unhappy communication on this junk...

Also, I have purchased Body improvements from the company called Air Design (they actually make parts for Ford) everything I have purchased to date has shipped very fast, instructions spot on and their stuff is top quality and looks great...

I ordered the hood vent(RTR) a while ago, but haven't had time to install it. I just examined it close and...It won't be installed on my DH.

That's number one BS looking part i bet they just stuffed a return in t he box and sent it out again. Man their qc is shitty. I just installed the feral splitter on mine and it was decent but i had to fight with it as well. wtf is with these companies they charge a premium and send parts from temu. Air designs seems to be the only one who's worth a dam at the moment.

Personally, I’m done with their BS products. Not only are they REALLY expensive but then, their QC is terrible and it’s hit or miss what you’re gonna get in the way of “three stooges” directions, and “Abbott and Costello” customer service. Seeing as all the crap comes from China what difference does it really make.

Not to be obtuse, but how is this hood vent an improvement over, or 'cooler' than the factory one? Based on past ecperiences, flat black parts do not age well.

It’s not, actually looks worse cause it’s flat black plastic - looked so bad I had it painted … that’s stupid on my part but rather than deal with the Mutt and Jeff return department I made it work - 🙄🙄🙄😡

It looks exactly the same as the factory one, which is... painted.
I get that I'm old, but I don't understand the obsession with everything matte black on a car. I'm considering painting mine Grabber Blue!
And here is where 99% of you will hate me, I don't like black wheels AT ALL. Mine came with the base black wheels and I had a set of light charcoal gray GT500 lookalikes before I even got the car, and had them switched out the next day.

To each his/her own. Personally I like the black accents, especially in white of red cars.
