Hey all. I’m wondering if any of you had some of these issues. When driving, I hear sorta like a jiggle or slight rattle which seems like it’s coming from my driver door window. Very odd.
Also , I encountered the rear seat deck rattling very loud. Any fixes to that?
And last, when at high speed, I think wind is getting into the vehicle, causing a crackling type odd noise. Anyone familiar with these?

As silly as it may sound, check the passenger seat belt to ensure it’s positioned correctly. Sometimes it can get caught between the seat and the door, causing a rattle. It’s a long shot, but it might be the culprit. I had this happen to me once, and it was surprisingly annoying.

Nah. I believe it, but mine are completely held in by dodge challenger style seatbelt holders. Not that.

I haven’t bought a third, but if I did, it would be because the fun of driving a Mustang outweighs the annoyance of squeaks and rattles. I loved both of my Mustangs, but I hate when people make excuses for Ford in this regard. If Honda can make a squeak and rattle free Civic for 25 grand, Ford should be able to make a rattle free Mustang for 50K. You shouldn’t have to track down squeaks and rattles on a new car.
I must have misread on the 3rd one... Apologies.

I am trying to not make excuses for Ford, because the cheapskate lineage is strong in me and I don’t like getting taken to the cleaners metaphorically speaking. And for the record, my Dark Horse does have a rattle that seemingly comes from the screen area, but it’s minor and I just cannot devote multiple dealer trips to that. My nephew has a late model civic. It’s not what I would use as a standard bearer for a quiet ride. It was competent enough, but did plenty if oddball things.

I agree, rattles on a new car in this day, age and state of design, QA, technology and of course cost, should be eyed with a great deal of scrutiny.

Sorry you have these issues. I know how annoying rattles, squeaks, and other assorted non-welcome sounds can be. I've had quite a few in my lifetime, but I have none with my Stang. I'm actually quite satisfied with the road noise with the top up. I have found over the years that it is much easier to find these annoying problems if you have someone else in the car with you. Good luck, and I hope you find resolutions to the sources. Glenn

This was an issue for me too. I was getting annoying rattling on the passenger side and it was just the belt.

Also, to those who essentially say "just accept it" - I don't really think persistent rattles are acceptable in any modern car. Especially if that car is new. I just bought a Mustang a month ago, and it's my first. I had read quite a bit about them before buying one, so I knew I wasn't going to get stellar quality. But honestly, I've been a bit surprised by both the build and software quality issues. They're quite shocking given the price of the car (mine was $95K AUD).

Having said that, I've also been pleasantly surprised by a few things - including the composure of the convertible (better than expected) and the quietness with the top up (also better than expected).

I agree, strange unexplained noises in my new car make me crazy.

The noise is most likely from rocks, gravel, road debris getting into the rocker panel . Theres a small opening in the front wheel well.

My 2024 GT Premium is Quiet a mouse.
You may have a loose Nut 🌰 behind the steering wheel.

Like IFFV68 my Stang is very quiet. Mine is a convertible and is a lot more quiet then I assumed it would be. No rattles at all. Knock-on-wood! Glenn
