Both actually, my biggest "complaint" about the S650 is the steering and how light it feels, my S550 feels nice and stiff and it's as if you can feel the road. ALso, the front feels as though it's not on the ground and I have to physically move the whee to keep it in the lane.
That is your, blind spot information system.
My 2020 F150 limited has land keeper, and if you don’t stay within the lines, it will yank the steering wheel and put you in the lines, even on Curvy roads.
There is a button where it can be turned off.
I believe the 2024 Mustang is able to turn it off.
Like the option. Especially on some of the Colorado Mountain roads.

I disabled the system with the button on the steering wheel. I need see if I can get the warnings and nudges without the lane keeping system. My 2023 F 150 has the same thing but I'm able to turn off the auto steering and still get lane warning in case I wander off.

No floating feeling here up to 130. It’s very responsive and I enjoy it.

It's under driver assistance. You can adjust the sensitivity as well as just have it alert you instead of actually adjusting the steering/vehicle.

Have had mine pinned to the governor a few times now when I visit Mexico, and I don't feel floaty. Doing the steeda progressives also helped give some "feeling" to the car, not that I didn't like it prior because I loved it stock as well, but now it's even better.

Do you by any chance have the lane keep enabled?

Total miles thus far? Almost wonder if magneride goes through a ‘learn’ in the same manner / idea / concept as the automatic transmission. Different modes and tires and nannies etc.
I have the performance pack and magneride in mine. But switching modes doesn't seem to do much with the magneride especially in sport and track mode. Does Ford performance have a magneride tuner you can switch out or anything of the like to give it a more aggressive feeling?

at highway speeds the front end seems to "float" and I'm constantly having to correct it, I took my S550 out under the same conditions and it stays put, no floating and very stable
We’re probably thinking in different terminology but what tire pressure are you running? Any abnormal wear pattern on the front tires?

Lane keep + tram lining can definitely make for a busy driving experience.

it always seem to be moving from one side of the lane to the other, I turned it off and it seemed to get much better
So that variable is out, keep an eye out for the tram lining. Even interstates develop ruts, especially if there is a lot of tractor trailer traffic. The wide tires of the Mustang handling package will love to follow these ruts and cause the car to “fight you” for the steering.

I noticed that if I floored it at 80 in the normal mode I had better acceleration then I did in the sport mode
That does not make any sense. The throttle map in normal mode and the exhaust mode are more lazy and restrictive, respectively. The Active valve will open up in normal but it’s not instant.
Did you time this or was it just perception?

I routinely drive in sport but once in a while use normal. both are plenty capable on the street for sure, but the transmission in sport mode is much, much, much more responsive to throttle and brake inputs (A10). I find sport way more fun to use.

But is there any way to turn it completely OFF? I don't even want alerts, and can't find a way to just turn the whole damn system off.

You have a button on the steering wheel for that? What does it look like?

Speedometer button turns toggles the speed controls (off by default), the button with the car in the lanes toggles the lane centering (on by default). Single button press for both in the US performance pack variants.

Ah. Well... I'm an idiot or blind, or just a blind idiot... But thank you for taking that picture and posting it up. That button is RIGHT THERE on my steering wheel and I've never seen it, I swear.

Hopefully, I've now had my idiot moment of the day taken care of, since you can't have more than one per day, right? RIGHT??

Do you have a Large Hammer or a Sledge Amatic ?
I know you can put the dog out at night with one.
It’s not a Ford option but an Aftermarket product!
It may Void your Warranty.
but,
You won’t get those pesky alerts.
this doesn’t represent union or management
