So just went through a super nasty T-Storm with torrential downpour rain. FordPass notified me that the security system detected unusual activity and the alarm was triggered. I didn't hear any alarm but I guess it was doing it's stuff. A false alarm due to thunder noise and insane, heavy rain..

When you turn off the ignition (at least in my S550) it gives you the options on the alarms.

I think it was PERIMETER + INTERIOR or PERIMETER (outside) only.

I know this because my son was sitting in the car when I went into LCBO and when I came out he said the alarm went off and that it was quite embarassing.

Yeah the 650 gives you the option to turn the motion alarm on or off when you shut off the car. I assume if you turn off the motion alarm the exterior one is still on? I will have to read the manual finally LOL. Yeah it was sort of the same way for me when I heard the horn going off from inside the FedEx store.
