While being a direct challenger to the Charger would be nice, I was wondering if a proper Mustang sedan would be better off as a mid-sized sedan as opposed to a full-size one.

The problem is it would take at least 3 years for this to come market. Halfway through the cycle, if Ford agreed to do it now ASAP. That's what sucks. This is so well done, on the level of how congruent this looked like in 1963.This would be great if it actually happened...
They'd tap into the family man, or woman, who likes to go fast and would appreciate everyone fitting in the damn thing comfortably. Dodge does it. Come on Ford!
This is the best 4 door rendering I've seen of any Mustang generation, because I find the new GT front end to be too heavy looking for a shorter 2 door body style. The longer body balances the visual mass better. My first thought was hell no. My second thought, after seeing these renderings, is hell yeah.
Unless they have already started, just not in the prototype in broad daylight phase. The problem is it would take at least 3 years for this to come market. It's too late now, as any 4 door would be EV.
They drew this several years ago
We can only hope, because S650 lifecycle running short hurts such prospects.Unless they have already started, just not in the prototype in broad daylight phase.
