Great choice in colourOrder placed today.
Expected delivery in April / May
Dealers are getting a demo car plus a small selection of pre-configured cars first. Factory orders will come later at some point. My dealer has 4 GT's (now 3) and 2 Dark Horses in the pipeline, plus one demo car.
Sooner than that I think. They are locked in for build now so probably being built in the next few weeks.
Already have, but no VIN allocated yet, just saying 'not serialised'Great choice in colouryou should get them to send you a screen shot of this order on there system then you will have a build date or if it’s built yet, along with a delivery date and a vin which might help you track it
It’s going to be a while then 🥲 as it needs to be serialised to get a vin, then it will get a allocation on the line, there should be a estimated production date along with a eta to dealer dateAlready have, but no VIN allocated yet, just saying 'not serialised'
Yes, 'intended registration month' is April 2024It’s going to be a while then 🥲 as it needs to be serialised to get a vin, then it will get a allocation on the line, there should be a estimated production date along with a eta to dealer date
Possible, but my Mach 1 was serialised 6 weeks before its build date, but it looks like Ford is building them all togetherYes, 'intended registration month' is April 2024
From experience of my S550 serialisation takes place about 10 days before build
Yes, the first batch of UK cars are already fixed specs in the system. If you find one that suits then great, but otherwise it is a factory order which will probably September time for delivery.Possible, but my Mach 1 was serialised 6 weeks before its build date, but it looks like Ford is building them all together![]()
Think they are going to struggle to sell 22% EV but I suppose they could always pre register a load if not, as I would of thought Mustangs would sell well this yearYes, the first batch of UK cars are already fixed specs in the system. Ford don't want to sell too many, as they have to sell 22% EV in 2024 and they have had major delays on the Explorer.
The cost of not selling 22% means they will, even if it means restricting sales of ICE cars to do it. The fine is £15k per car!Think they are going to struggle to sell 22% EV but I suppose they could always pre register a load if not, as I would of thought Mustangs would sell well this year
Do we finally get the Torsen diff in the DH?Ford configuration is live
About £66k for dark horse comes with Tremec
Configured my GT to £58k
Recaros 2 grand extra for seats
Magnaride extra on GT
Sort of what i was expecting
Make a decision when i see one at dealer
My Mach was taking a factory build slot. Transmission, colour and seats, so I took it. There are so few DH options that it should be easy to get what you want. Are they limited though like Bullit and the mach 1 was ?
When enquired today on order process and delivery they said as far as they know they are not a limited run.
Its changed since i ordered a mustang in 2015,and 2018 when i could walk in and order what i wanted. They have limited allocated set builds, after that its order on line only ???
Yes, according to the Ford websiteDo we finally get the Torsen diff in the DH?
