In a shock of all horrors gate release happened on Friday and as of Sunday it has left flat rock.
It's now in the hands of the shipment company for a while.

Well, that's great news.

I still have nothing on mine, not any info whatsoever. I've been in contact with a garage up North asking about a Vantage S they have.

You should get a compound in, in a few days, when it arrives at the port

Dealer was unable to determine the route it was going to take, he did think next update would be its arrival in europe

No it’s got to go to Newark 1st so It is being transported to the docks which will then be compound in, then in a few weeks or more, there will be a compound out which will be when she is loaded onto the ship, which you will then be able to track across the pond

It'll be a guessing game of which ship it is as the system appears to be on about a 3 day delay. Most vessel trackers don't tell you where it's going until it's left.

No that’s the easy part, as it will be one of the Atlantic series of ships, just find the date it left and see which one was in port at that time, as there’s only four or five of them, like Atlantic Sun, Atlantic Sea, Atlantic Sail are a few of them

I ordered through a popular dealership early march and got an estimated delivery date of June 1st, at the time this was just a guess from the dealership, they said it could possibly be earlier.
Of course i haven't got it yet, and unlikely to get it for that estimated delivery date.

I did put a deposit down, got an order number (not a ford order number), no VIN, nothing to track it.
I get an update from dealership every so often saying it's in the system at ford, just no build date etc.

I expect it will be a good few months before anything starts

I ordered 2nd Feb although my order actually says ordered 16/12 as part of the initial batch. I still have no VIN, which means earliest build is likely to be August now. Some US orders take 2 months, some have been waiting for a year, although the way they prioritise orders there at dealerships is very different.

Not sure about the August break this year as they already have 2 weeks off in July?

If they are taking two weeks off in July then they are likely to retool then and possibly change to a MY25
Mine is the 16th and none of these have build dates, all vins are from earlier dates in December and November

Yes mine is the 16th too - but mine is a GT not DH

I don't think MY25 cars will come until September builds.

US orders for MY24 DH are now closed as of this week, but GT order bank is still open for MY24

There are a couple of ebay with vins and an initial order date of the 16th, one of them even has an orbit number 6 before steve's ...
It's either received it's vin recently or had a status update, they seem to be making a big push for end of July builds. As the same dealer has 3x DH's being built between 15th and 22nd of July.

It does seem that DH is getting priority over the GT at the moment.

Could be related to the recent shortage of the start/stop enabled engine as american DH's dont have start/stop at least.
But it is in my vin filtered manual so chances are UK cars have start/stop.

It's that or they have a large backlog of retail orders to clear.

I did think earlier that they might be keeping imports low to use small (or medium) series type approval regulations, but then i read that the UK is not accepting Euro 6E results for type approval, we're sticking with 6D. Although the brochure says 6.2 which is 6d-temp

I did notice your car order has the CO2 figures on it but my order doesn't. I assume they get added once scheduled?

Our team has advised that All-New Mustang has faced building delays, of which dealers have been kept up-to-date.

My dealer has just found an identical spec car to my original order that was built last week, I have the VIN and the car is in transit! Worth getting your dealer to look and see if there is a car already built with your spec on it's way. There were many duplicate spec cars ion the first order batch, I was just unlucky that mine hadn't been built and a simple swap has moved things on. Car due to arrive in the UK in August.

Has anybody managed to download a window sticker for an S650 ?
