I've waited this long so may as well actually get one in the colour and spec I want but yes well aware it will arrive in the summer.
I have pointed out to the dealer that I'm not expecting to pay list either especially given the VED increase in April.

I think the problem is Ford struggled to get any cars to the UK and then about 100 have turned up within a few weeks which is far more than the market can carry. If they had supplied to order and not shovelled in a load of dealer stock it would have helped. They knew well before these cars were built how many orders they had, it's not like they need to sell them as it harms their company CO2 average and ZEV figures.

This much is all true. However, in this instance, the advert now says "deposit taken", just a couple of hours later, so I guess my original assertion is disproved and Ford can easily shift metal if priced correctly.

Seems like not everyone had the patience to wait the best part of a year from order to delivery (for the cars just arriving) Crazy to think i ordered my car just over a year ago now!

As for the VED increase, it's not included in the price promise but my dealer did absorb the small increase last year, i doubt they will this year, so more orders will get dropped.
Although original price + new ved is probably still cheaper than they're currently trying to sell them for.

The car listed / deposit taken at £65k is around the original price. Yes it has recaro's so it is under msrp but not by the £5.5k they claim!

I'm happy with ford pumping up prices and then discounting them back towards what i paid. Helps with the resale value at least for now.

I've asked regarding VED on my order, the price I got last year is the price (VED included) so I guess they are taking the hit if mine doesn't get delivered before April.

Random question, What size/width is the steering wheel on the DH?

I'd be pleasantly surprised if your Dealer was just taking the hit on VED depending on what deal you have already done ?

Looking at Dark Horse for the first time, actual car in stock local to me. Nearly ordred last year but went with another car. Pricing seems all over the place £66k to £73k. Seems to be loads of Autos for sale.

Should be some good deals to be had.

Don't discount the GT with options - cheaper and in my opinion looks nicer at the front and slightly softer ride - if that is what you want.

Salesman not so. Completely not interested. Probably because i said dearest I've seen and i wasnt paying £73 k for it, cancelled order and now demonstrater. He said limited supply of all mustangs, just not getting them.

There are plenty to choose from at the moment - Mustang's and dealers!

VIN ends in 0001, was told that's quite rare!
