Screen is great ! This is where we are at technically. Really like the options. HVAC easy to use. My one complaint would be lack of phone control on steering wheel.
Ha, yeah, the phone button... often referred to in the manual... other than showing where it is!

Grok3 says ... sort of a summary what all has been said about it

Prompt:

on a 2024 mustang gt premium the manual states to end a phone call press the button on the steering wheel - which button is that ?

Answer:

On the 2024 Mustang GT Premium, the manual might mention pressing a button on the steering wheel to end a phone call, but this has caused some confusion among owners because Ford made a design change for this model year. Unlike previous models, the 2024 Mustang doesn’t have a dedicated phone button (typically a phone icon) on the steering wheel. That button was removed, leaving many scratching their heads when the manual references it.

Here’s the deal: to end a phone call, you’ll likely need to use the touchscreen instead. When a call is active, the center display should show an option to hang up—usually an "X" or "End Call" button. However, if you want to stay hands-on with the steering wheel, the "OK" button (on the right side of the wheel, part of the five-way control pad) can sometimes accept or end calls depending on the context. For example, pressing "OK" might pick up an incoming call, and during an active call, it might end it—but this isn’t consistent across all setups and depends on how your phone syncs with the car’s system.

Ford seems to have shifted some functionality away from physical buttons to the Sync 4 interface for 2024, which explains the discrepancy between the manual and the actual steering wheel layout. If you’ve got your phone paired via Bluetooth, you could also try the voice command button (the one with a face or speech icon). Press and hold it to activate your phone’s assistant (like Siri or Google Assistant), then say “hang up” or “end call”—that might work as a workaround.

Have you tried any of these yet?

If you’re still stuck, let me know what you see on your wheel and screen when a call’s active—I can narrow it down further!

Just read about the series on Wikipedia. Speedies original Japanese name was Go Mifune, and Pops company was Mifune Motors. I always wondered what the G was for in his shirt. They used Mifune to pay Homage to Japan's greatest actor Toshiro Mifune. Peter Fernandez did lots of voice overs for the American version. Was a great cartoon. I believe Ultra Man came on after Speed Racer.
‘G’ stands for go, which without is just o, o speed racer doesn’t represent motion so need the ‘G’ to make it go, Go speed racer are three actions. 😂

Actually, the manual does tell you about the Ford Assistant (Page 411, which is appropriate page number). I both answer and hangup using this very button (Upper left in photo). My 2019 Ranger has two (Answer and Hangup) which I think most older Ford products have as well. Confusing? Perhaps for some, but I figured it out fairly quickly as changing the right screen while underway is PITA!

In sync3, you had the “Compass” option for the center of the gauge cluster and while navigating it would show a prominent icon for next turn / distance. Now we have a much smaller icon present but it’s not the prominent center of the gauges area.

But hey, thank GOODNESS we have that GINORMOUS seat belt splash screen :-/
(and thank FORSCAN even more for letting us suppress it)

Now that we all have in our 2024 Mustang a fully configurable instrument cluster with custom gauges, I was hoping that Ford would include some cute notes on the speedometer like I recall in my 2016 V6 mustang that had a nice note "Ground Speed MPH". I hope in the future they include some possible fun notes like in the attached picture.
