@Ford Motor Company Please update: It would be nice to have the ability to start the car with the LAST mode AND exhaust settings the way you left it last.

I did some follow up testing with FORScan and it appears I’m unable to update the IPC module at all. I’m on windoze 10 laptop, lenovo thinkpad with obdlink ex, most current f/w.

I tried shutting down the seat belt splash screen -- https://www.mavericktruckclub.com/f...t-information-screen-confirmed-working.45892/

tried continuous gear display and on a bet, auto hold disable - all of them fail "Service procedure has been interrupted”. I’ve tried both usb ports, updated the obdlink firmware and confirming the FORScan options to no avail.

Last thing I tested was APIM ; global windows down, change from enable to disable - success.
changed it back to enable - success.

so it’s only the IPC ... so far, that I can’t update.

I'm aware of a number of people who have had issues with the OBDLink EX. They picked up the MX+ and no problems (and far more useful beyond just editing). I have an older MX and it works great.

I’m using the OBDLink EX and was able to get the persistent gear display to work with FORScan. I have not tried to make any other changes.

I started out with the obdlink MX - worked on my ’17 Raptor and when that failed I tried the ex.

I’ve sent a message to FORSCAN, maybe the .bin has some data that’s more insightful than the log files.

I gave up, it's a waste of time resets every time I start up the car. There should be a save option.

That's because it's programmed to reset every time you restart the car.
