I doubt, historically coupe spoilers are not compatible with convertible trunks, not sure about current generation tho

same issue. Its where the third brake light is that causes the issue.

Is the double sided tape that comes with the spoiler sufficient or do you think it would be better to substitute it with a 3M product?

The one i got, actually had good tape for once very grippy. If it wasn't I keep 3m vhb and a box of the 3m adhesion promoter handy. probably go with the 3m if there are any questions about its
grip.

Its polyurethane vs abs. Just slightly different mechanical properties. Poly should be cheaper as its easier to mold. Abs has higher impact resistance and heat tolerances while poly can flex better. Its not 500 dollars worth of spoiler. Superauto tends to bulk buy and jack the prices.

Thanks for the response. Just been trying to refresh the ebay links with no luck. And not sure when they'll come back in stock if ever and if those prices won't be jacked then too.

Okay guys, after scouting the web for 3-4 days non stop, I have finally found the supplier for this in china.

Minimum order is 5 pieces, if I do a bulk order, they will give some discount. They will ship and it will reach usa within a month, both matte and gloss are available.

Attached are the photos they shared with me.

If you guys want, I can create a shopify store like the ones they have created, and open preorders for 50 pieces (initially) and order them as a batch, I can keep you guys updated about the shipment and ship to all who have ordered when I get it. Obviously I will price it accordingly and cheaper than the current offerings.
Doing it as preorder because I don’t have that much capital lol and don’t wanna wind up with 49 spoilers when I only want one .

So I just watched this video, and wondering if all of you are having same experience with the hardware, where you have to MacGyver something to get it to work? Was under impression that it wouldn't be that hard and OEM hardware would work in addition to 3m tape. But this seems otherwise.

Also, didn't know about the stamp on the back of the spoiler. Are all of you seeing that too?

For mine I used some gurney flap decorative spacers and decorative washers to adjust the mounting hardware so it was tight. Its on olid and my center is just held on with 3m tape. No issues. It does take some creativity to get it to bolt tightly

Does anyone know what the roll of tape is for? My kit didn't seem to include one of the plastic cover double-sided 3MM tape and I was going to just use some from the roll.

Also, did people put anything (grease/filler) on the screws to prevent water leak? I don't know if I really care.
