probably ford realized that the mustang takes so many chips, and so few to go around, are having second thoughts or deleting options that take chips.. to give us a shit version??

Whatever haven’t been scheduled from the previous year will be built and moved to the new year. So there won’t be any remanding orders from the previous model year

Before or after would make sense either way - use VIN 001 auction as PR and release info next week (possibly give order info info during auction), or release info this week so whoever wins the auction knows what they want.

If Ford really wants deliveries by summer...now would be the time for them to get their together.

That is exactly what I was thinking they would sell vin 001 on the 28th and going by what other people have said where ford only opens the order banks on Tues, Wed, Thurs then they would open the order banks on Tuesday 01/31/23.

You are probably thinking of my posts, and I was looking at recent banks like 2023 mustang(9/21/23 Wednesday), 2021 bronco(1/19/21 Tuesday) 2023 Super Duty (10/27/23 Thursday) etc.

I just went and looked at 2015 mustang bank, looks like it was may 20th 2014, so a Tuesday.

Doesn't mean it can't be a different day, just speculation.

My dealer called me today and stated ford is doing a "dealer broadcast" for the 2024 Mustang on 2/9/23. Not sure what a "dealer broadcast" is? But maybe ordering opens that day?
