Save some $$. I am confident this brace is as strong/stronger than any other brand. It's from American Muscle.

I am not very qualify to say if a certain manufacturer is better than a other and for that same reason this is why I try to stay with renown aftermarket parts. I know that it can cost more but for the peace of mind and the assurance that what I buy will fit and that I will get the support I need if needed or my money back i prefer paying more and be satisfy

You just got a brand new mustang and I presume you want to take care of it the best you can. Then don't try to cut corners to save a few bucks. My opinion anyway.

I have the OEM strut bar from Ford for my 24 GT premium, will this add extra stiffness bring a double bar or is the one I have equivalent already??
I don't believe that it will add more stiffness then the factory 1 but as steeda specs says
Product Benefits
  • Improves front chassis stiffness
  • Improves ride quality over rough surfaces
  • Improved vehicle handling
  • 10% lighter than the factory Ford Strut Tower Brace
  • Allows easy access to the oil dipstick
it seems that the only added feature is less weight. But I could be wrong. Also the oil dipstick seem to be easier to access

I have one for sale that came off my GT Premium Convertible. I changed to the 3 point brace that ties to the cowl and reduces cowl shake in the vert.
I have the vert too! With PP/Magnaride. What exactly is cowl shake, will the 3 point be better than my OEM one, and can you send me the link to it??

I bought the black Ford Performance one. Came with the steel bracing as well. I don’t think it really is too much of a pain to get to the dipstick, and I’ve done it a few times already. Bought mine off LMR and with a mini discount when you buy and review items on their site. Or if you have ford pass points some have gotten theirs for like $20.

So are you saying it will add more stiffness than the OEM one that came with the PP or just in general since I don't think a strut bar comes on the non PP cars

Same here. Order cancelled and FordPass points put back in my account. As for STB in general, I put a 3 point Maximum Motorsports one in my 03 GT vert and it made a major difference in controlling "cowl shake".. The car did not come with one stock.

Yea, just confirmed, the tower strut brace w/cowl extension is part of the PP option. For normal driving, it really serves no purpose, but for road racing, it has its benefits.
